Frank Gehry.

As many of my readers know, I attend school for Interior Design. As we often are designing the creative and technical components of the Interior Architecture, we also, more often than not, work directly with the Architects when creating a space. As I have slowly made my way through my immensely interesting, yet thoroughly intense schooling, I have grown to love many different Architects and creators. One Architect I have gravitated to since the beginning of my design career was the infamous Frank Gehry. While I wanted to demonstrate to my readers my love for design and architecture (meaning I was collecting floor plans since I was 8), I thought it would be important to showcase a true Canadian-born artist. Frank Gehry was born right in the city of Toronto, and has since returned to our beautiful, bustling city to create a truly distinctive piece. As many of you are familiar with the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), Gehry has created an iconic design right in the museum - and his artistic imprint is anything but hard to miss.

Frank Gehry was a part of the re-design of the Art Gallery of Ontario, and was Gehry's first Canadian project where he made the initial connection between architecture and art.

Here are some of the works created by Frank Gehry in the new and improved AGO. I highly recommend attending the exhibit, even just to purely see the beautiful architectural elements.
